The wedding cake is often the centerpiece of the joyous occasion. Did you know that cutting the cake was found to be as important as the first dance or even exchanging vows? What if you could make your cake even more unique with a custom 3D printed cake topper! Or how about gifting this experience to friends and family, looking to one-up their wedding wow!

HOW?

When you come to the studio there are no rules for what should go on a cake.

We often have couples in their dress and tuxedo step into the booth; but in recent months, many have opted for the more personal look.

Include props, they will separate you from the pack. Jenny opted to add prop dumbbells into their custom cake topper.

This month we were happy to host our friend at Our Home & Miniature Land (Little Canada) and our honourable Members of Parliament, Arif Virani, MP for Parkdale-High Park, and Pam Damoff, MP for Oakville-Burlington North, at our freshly festive Pop-Up store on Queen Street West. We took the opportunity to scan Arif and Pam while they were at Selftraits. And we just got their mini-me’s in today! Hey Arif and Pam, now we have to decide where you want your mini-me placed!

Our newest product line is here and ready for action! For the first time ever, Selftraits is pivoting from the standard gypsum-powder material, and printing these mini-figs in full plastic! Scaled to 2″ and spray painted army green, live out your childhood dreams by transforming yourself into a Toy Soldier!

Pricing starts at $80 for a pack of 3 of the same pose, or $40 each for varying poses.

Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign!

While standard Selftraits make for a great gift on their own, why not add an even greater level of detail? Now introducing custom signs, at no extra charge! Whether it is a company award or personal message, give your Selftrait a voice with our custom signs!

How does this work?

All you have to do is hold an empty frame (which we provide!) in our 3D photo booth. Once the scan has been sent to our 3D designer, we digitally fill the empty frame with the design and/or message you would like to include- it’s that easy!

Pricing for Selftraits begin at $120 per person and increase by $60 for each additional inch.

Hosting Little Canada – Investor Drop-In Info Night

On November 2nd, OHML held their first Investor Drop-In. Our guests took part in a presentation of our investor pitch, a screening of our new concept video and got a chance to speak one-on-one with Jean-Louis, Dave and John. The night provided insight into where we are with our Canada build and provided more information on the small investor campaign. We thank everyone who showed up and want to invite those who couldn’t make it to our next info session on Saturday, November 11 at 10 a.m. Sweet treats will be provided!
